I won t review the casino side I don t know it, only the poker Aviation used to be one of the greatest place to play poker and it certainly retain some of its old glory unfortunatly it is on its dying breath The setting: it is one of paris oldest 'cercles' (or private member club where the parisian elite came to gamble and smoke cigars in a plush refined atmosphere do not expect anything like you ever witnessed in a casino, no bling, no crumped space this is a refined and elegant place still.
The club opened in 1907 and was widely regarded as a classic gambling site.[1]In 2005, the Grand Prix de Paris leg of the World Poker Tour took place at the Aviation Club.[2]
The main games played at the Aviation Club were: baccarat, poker and backgammon.[citation needed]

The simple game
For the game to start, the player must place his bet on one of the three possible wagers: “banco” means that he plays with the bank, “punto” means that he plays for the “ponte” against the bank, “tie” means that he wagers that the bank’s hand and the “ponte”’s hand will be the same.
Before the start of the game, the croupier draws a card and turns it over. The value of this card (face cards are worth 10 for this operation) indicates the number of cards that will “burned” before starting the game.
The croupier then deals a card, face down, on the “punto” and one on the “banco”. He deals a second one on each of these cards. Once the cards have been dealt, they are turned over in order to count their total value.
IF PUNTO OR BANCO ARE WORTH 8 OR 9 no more cards are dealt. There will be no additional draw for these two combinations.
The croupier then compares the 2 hands placed in front of him:
Punto has the highest score, PUNTO wins
Banco has the highest score, BANCO wins
Punto and Banco have the same score: TIE
