Mein Schiff 6 will be christened in the Port of Hamburg with the inclusion of the new Elbphilharmonie. The godmother is their titular organist from Latvia Iveta Apkalna. Even before the christening, the ship starts a few advance trips with travel agency partners and first guests.

After the christening and maiden voyage, Mein Schiff 6 will be on various routes in Northern Europe and the Baltic States until mid-August 2017. Then Mein Schiff 6 moves to Bayonne / New York. From September 2017, the latest addition to the fleet will be cruising in the United States of America and Canada, and from November in Central America.
